What Do You Live For?
Our world.
One bound by rules and laws, cultures and traditions, either obvious or subtle. We are a quark; an infinitesimally pathetic spark amongst the sea of people.
So when the strong gale blows and the currents flow so, we want to follow. We look for acceptance; approval.
We are educated. Not so to think for ourselves, but to know how others have thought. To learn and memorise what they have conceived, yet to never be allowed to sire an idea of our own.
We are repressed and pressured. No so just by the rules and the laws, but more so, and far stronger, by the dictates of traditional and culture.
And everyday. Every single day without fail. I fight to sound out with my own voice; to scream and shout and bellow in agony so that I will not drown in the sea of people: for to surrender is to cost me my heart and soul.
I say to you today. To find your own voice now, before it is forever lost to the wind and the rain.
To stand above the sea, and glance from another perspective.
To seek your purpose, your drive, your journey - and embark on it!
For while we have created many noble professions, they are not what we are here for.
I live to inspire, to learn and to love.
What do you live for?
What do you live for?!
The stakes are high because a day will come when we will turn cold and hard, the day will come when we die.
By then, it would be too late to look back - and know that you have died, but never lived.
